With over 50 years of experience, Dr. Jerry Argovitz has played an instrumental role in the commercial and residential real estate sectors. His expertise encompasses a wide array of fields, from brokerage and development to leasing, financing, and land acquisition.

1964 – Present:

  • Formed nearly 50 joint ventures or limited partnerships, which included raw land, commercial shopping centers, and apartment projects in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin, Texas.
  • Extended equity funding to an array of residential, commercial, and apartment developers.
  • Orchestrated land procurement for two Indian Tribes and located strategic partners to finance, build, and manage casinos.
  • Served as trustee or general partner for numerous partnerships, focusing on enhancing property value, increasing cash flow, and optimizing tax benefits.
  • Successfully negotiated contracts, from purchase and sales to construction and joint ventures, alongside loan and financing agreements.
  • Partnered and developed lands for commercial and residential purposes, subsequently selling them to national home builders.

Current Endeavors:

The Manvel Town Center – A massive regional shopping center, spanning over a million square feet, currently under construction on 103 acres purchased by Dr. Argovitz more than four decades ago. This facility will feature major retailers such as HEB Grocers, Target, and Lowes, supplemented by a diverse mix of shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and essential services. In addition, 170 acres adjoining the center are reserved for prospective developments in the future.
